This is just a quick update to announce the new design featuring some abstract art of mine. You can read more about it in the site section. I’m still customizing a few things, but for the most part the theme is finished. I hope you like it. I was going for something darker this time.

It took me a few days, but I finally have my WordPress design up and running. I’ve also slowly been working on getting the content back up. I typed up a new site section; it details a little about the site’s history, as well as information on Firestorm’s current theme, which features character artwork from one of my favorite artists.

If you used to visit Firestorm in the past, you’ll notice right away I’ve deviated from the usual fiery theme I had going on—this design features much of my favorite color blue. Besides, I was getting really tired of having fire-related colors up all the time.

I know I’ve lost a lot of my traffic, since I had my website inactive for so long. I do hope to get that visitor flow going again and I hope that some of my old visitors still come around from time to time. If so, please help spread the word; it would be much appreciated.

So, what are my plans for the site? I plan to keep offering my photoshop brushes, as well as some other resources; all I have up so far is the brushes. I still plan to keep this my portfolio of art, share some story excerpts and keep a journal of my incredibly random thoughts. I used to offer free layouts in the past, but I don’t really plan to put any of those old designs back up. I think I’ve grown a lot since I created those; the way I code and design is much different. I still retain some of my old style, but it’s not entirely the same.

Hi! Welcome. For now, Firestorm is just a small place on the web where I share my network, writing, some art and various other sites around the web that I happen to love. This site used to house an online journal of mine and contain a huge collection of various layouts, Photoshop brushes and more art that I have created over the years. I may one day place my site templates back on the web—a few of them can still be found on DDG—but for now, my Photoshop brushes can be accessed by going to my DeviantART page.
